Coming to Prescott, AZ from Chicago, Dr. Julia brings a multitude of experience treating Women’s Health issues, autoimmune, Chronic Pain, working with Veterans, and more.
Dr. Iuliana (Julia) was born in Romania and made the USA her home in 2005.
After dealing with her own health issues, she discovered acupuncture and decided to complete her Master Degree in Oriental Medicine at National University of Health and Sciences in Illinois. She built up a practice in the Chicago area for over 5 years before deciding to move to Prescott Valley so her family could be closer to nature and enjoy a slower pace.
Dr. Julia has studied extensively not only Chinese Medicine but also Japanese acupuncture - a much gentler acupuncture style - in 2017 during an intensive internship in Kyoto, Japan.
Dr. Julia furthered her studies with a Doctorate in Integrative Women's Health at Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Los Angeles and completed an internship at one of the main IVF clinics in Colorado.
At her previous practice in Chicago she mainly focused on fertility, pregnancy, post partum and hormonal imbalances. Julia is also trained in Japanese pediatrics and loves when she gets to work with the newborns, not only their mothers.
Dr. Julia works with all types of patients varying from infants to the golden age. Being trained in Functional Medicine, Neural Therapy and Medical Qi Gong allows her to work with patients in a more integrative way with faster results.
